Jesse started with us in August of 2017. He managed a restaurant previously, but was looking for a change of pace and I was in need of someone with the qualities and skill set of someone who knew their way around a kitchen. You could tell right off the bat that it was going to be a great fit, as he caught on to the way we do things very quickly, making my job that much easier.
Jesse never got to experience burger week in 2017, but heard all the stories as to how busy it can be. Jumping forward to burger week 2018, Jesse was definitely a shining star! He worked everyday of burger week and rose to the occasion more than I could have ever imagined.
He's the type of employee who shows up an hour early most days ready to work if needed and will cover any shift, or come in on his day off if called, without any hesitation. Having an employee like that takes a lot of stress off of me when someone calls in sick or life's little things pop up unexpectedly. This award is very well deserved, keep up the great work Jesse, and thank you for being part of the Chef Inspired Team!
